Every year two of the top science students from each of the United States and others from around the world are selected to attend the National Youth Science Camp (NYSCamp). For a month between high school and college they study alongside preeminent professionals exploring science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). They participate in variety of outdoor adventure activities and have opportunities to be creative and develop their talents in art, music, and drama.
These students, selected on merit, attend the NYSCamp without charge thanks to the support of many individuals, corporations, and public agencies. On Giving Tuesday (November 29, 2016), we hope to secure funding for one delegate to participate in the 2017 NYSC – a goal of $7,500.
Please click the banner above to help so that future NYSCampers can share these unique experiences. If you have never contributed to the NYSF before, please consider a small, $5 donation. Share your support of the NYSF and the NYSCamp on Facebook and Twitter using the hash tags #GivingTuesday #STEM #2017NYSCamp. Together, we can provide this important enrichment experience to another NYSCamp delegate in 2017. Thank you!
