Activities: 2 Year Research Internships at the University of Alabama at Birmingham: Pozzo-Miller Neurobiology Laboratory and the Civitan International Research Center, I was chosen to lead an interdepartmental Rett syndrome research project in the Pozzo-Miller Neurobiology Laboratory in order to pursue a grant for the Neurobiology Department, 2019-2020. Rett Syndrome Clinic at the Civitan International Research Center, I have been leading a two-year independent clinical observational study for Rett Syndrome with the mentorship of Dr. Alan Percy at the Civitan International Research Center and of Dr. Gary Cutter at the Biostatistics Department of the UAB School of Public Health, 2018-2020., , Junior Civitan: Alabama Central District Junior Civitan Public Relations Coordinator, Board Member, and Dance-A-Thon Fundraising Team Leader, 2019-2020.
