Davis, WV – The fourth research weekend of Youth Science Discovery Experience 2012 begins tomorrow. Excelling high school students from West Virginia and surrounding states will convene at Canaan Valley Institute to collaborate with scientists and their colleagues. They will continue their research after they depart CVI, and will present their findings in a research colloquium in April.
The research projects being explored during this section of YSDE include: optimization of decomposition processes, wind power generation, microbiology, hydrology, and flight mechanics. To learn more about these projects, and to receive updates from the program, please visit 2012.ysde.org.
