Davis, WV – Weekend three of the 2012 Youth Science Discovery Experience begins at Canaan Valley Institute (CVI) tomorrow. High School students from West Virginia will be assembling at CVI to continue their research projects, and to collaborate with the scientists based there. They will continue work on their projects until Sunday afternoon, and will return to CVI for another research weekend in April for a presentation of their findings.
The research projects being explored during this section of YSDE include: optimization of decomposition processes, wind power generation, microbiology, hydrology, and raptor migration. To learn more about these projects, and to receive updates from the program, please visit 2012.ysde.org.
